The Big Kids


  I decided that I should make a separate page for all the big kids pictures. Steven and I  have six adult children and six grandchildren between us and there just would not have been enough room with our pictures too. I will put a little explanation by each picture so you get a little story with each one. Enjoy the gallery.

These are the two oldest of all the children we have.  This is my son Mathew and my daughter Erin.  They don't look alike at all and never would do anything together as my daughter always figured people would think them a couple rather than brother and sister, so I really love this picture they had taken for me a few years ago.

 

Well, here they are again.  It was taken Christmas of 1992.

 

This is Erin, my daughter and she is the oldest of all of our children.  She is the mother of Brandon and Makenna.   She is an ARIES.  She likes camping and she has a bit of an artistic vein in her and I am always pleased when she expresses herself.  She is also the most computer non-user of all of the kids.  That is now changed.  She has a computer and is really learning it.  My grandson, Brandon is also becoming computer literate.  Don't they all. . . .

 

Here is my son Mathew again, skydiving of all things.  It is done on a buddy system, still scary though, but he had a good time.  He works as a PC/Help Desk Tech., in the County where he lives.  Very much into computers and the one responsible for getting me hooked on them.

 

 

Well, it would not do for there to be only one "crazy" kid in our bunch, so with this next picture we each have one.  This is of Kathy, Steven's oldest daughter and she is doing the same thing as my Mathew. . .skydiving!!!!!!!!!!!!  Yikes!!  Sorry, kids, but give me Terra Firma.

 

 

 

Here are all of Steve's children.  From left to right are:  Joe, Darci, Matthew and Kathy.  The baby is Chris being held by his dad.  This was taken about 3 years ago at the CDF fire station where Kathy was working.   The picture is a bit fuzzy, but it is the only one their dad could find with all of them as adults.

 

 

This is Matthew.  He is the second oldest of the six children we have between us.  He lives in Missouri, where he is the sales representative for a very large travel agency.  He is also an ARIES.  He and Erin were born in the same month and on the same day just a couple of years apart.  In this other picture, we took a trip downriver and were picking blackberries,  sort of looks like the Matthew is doing a "Blackberry Ballet."

 

 

Here are a couple of pictures of Steve's son,  Joe.  The one on the left is with his sister, Kathy and his son, Joe2.  The one on the right is of Joe and his son.  Joe lives in Alaska and is working on getting MSIE certified and getting his degree in Computer Graphics.

 

 

Kathy at her graduation from the Wildland Fire Academy.  She also has a degree in Fire Science from College of the Siskiyous.

 

Kathy in her CDF Uniform.  She is an Engineer, Fire Truck Driver.

 

Here is Kathy at our house for a visit while her sister, Darci was here.

 

Well, Kathy (above) got married and there is going to be a new baby in the family.  This new little one is coming in May, only a few months away.  Everyone is making preparations.

   Well Kathy and her husband Brian, had a baby girl.   Her name is Maia Rain.    Pictures of her and another new granddaughter are on the Little Ones page.  We have babies coming out of the woodwork or is that the cabbage patch?

This next picture is of just Darci. . .Darci and the hat.  It was cute and her Dad said I could put it here.  This was taken way before she was married, back in 1997.

This is a picture of Darci and her husband Aaron on their wedding day.

 

This is Darci and her husband, Aaron out indexing cemeteries.  The one they are working on here is very, very large and is going to take them some time.  When they are not indexing, Darci works on her genealogy and Aaron is the Network Administrator for the company he works for. 

   

Well, time to add some more pictures.  For now it will be just this one and it is of Steve's son Matt who recently married.  

This is Matt and his new bride Michele.  They were married in Georgia where she is from. 

Well, I get to add another wedding picture.  This is of Kathy and her husband Brian.  They were married before the above couple, I just got my hands on the picture and zip. . .right into the scanner.  So, here they are.  I think brides are so pretty.

Well for the time being that is all for the big kids page.  We have a couple more that could get married so, you just never know what will happen.
