I had an interesting day at both cemeteries. It was a hot one...95 degrees..too hot to have problems, but mission accomplished. Here is the info I found. Will send photos tomorrow. I have to contact the computer people again to get this working correctly.
Holy Sepulchre Cemetery - Josephine, the lady in the office, pulled the cards for all the following. Exactly as on their records.
Edward Van Landschoot. Interment 6/9/1952. Lot 7, Section 321A Grave 2. Undertaker - Meneve.( Photo that I sent you)
Gustave Van Landschoot. Age 79. Died from cancer. Born in Belgium. Lot 7, 321A grave 2. Undertaker Meneve. (My comment: they are buried together in the same plot, but Gustave name is not on stone.)
Another Edward Van Landschoot. Interred on December 21, 1900. Cause of death - injuries. Born in Belgium. Lot Section O #221 Grave 4. This child must be the son of above Edward.
Charles Van Landschoot. 2 years, 1 month. Interred on May 12, 1899. Died of Measles. Born USA. Lot Section ) #221 Grave 4 . Undertaker -McLaughlin
Joseph Van Landschoot. Date of Interment 4-5-1949. Age 66. Born in Belgium. Lot/Section 4 33 Grave 4. (Tillman head stone. Joseph's last name not on the stone.)
Victoria Van LandSchoot. Age 46 Born USA. Interred on May 20, 1943. Lot Section 4 Number 33, grave 4.Undertaker - Meneve
Gloria Van Landschoot interred with parents as above. She died of nephritis. Undertaker was Legg. Date as given previously
Calvary Cemetery was very interesting. I took photos of headstones of Monton and Tillman (Peter and Adelaide, Ernest and Daniel.)
Albert van Landschoot is file #24,060. Date of interment 4/19/1974. Section 3 Grave 267. I have copy of card. Went to that section and found the stone by #. I took a photo of it. The name on it is Himschoot. Cleamon is the first name. Puzzled, so we went back to the office thinking we got wrong info. Not wrong - it was correct. Albert
is in that plot. The office pulled another card from the deed file. (Not allowed a copy of this one, but did physically view it.) The plot is owned by a Cleamon HUNschoot, from 67 Butler Street, Paterson, NJ.
This address is right across the street from Our Lady of Lourdes Church. I think this was a friend and the space was available and offered to Clara to bury her husband there.
Now we went to the opposite end of the cemetery to find Clara's grave. She is file #25,477 and interred on 11/8/1975. Sec. 32 Grave 900. The name on that stone is Vanlandegam. Could it be they combined Van
Landschoot and Maldegam? Again, went back to the office and the young gentleman looked for the info again and confirmed that is the correct plot. He went with us and found the same one and THAT was it. Went
back to the office to search further, but this was the only thing he came up with for Clara. He looked under her maiden name also.
This adds some info for both of us. Perhaps you can build more fromsome of this new info. Also, I have a correction on the wedding picture I sent you of Wieme in Sluis. His first wife was Clementia Moens (translated Martha in US) and the bride on the photo was Prudentia Zegers. Will take care of photos in the AM.
