that left the town to settle in Canada.


Marriage 1625 Jules (Gilles) Trottier married Catherine Loiseau 1625 in St-Martin-d'Igé, Mortagne, Perche (Orne),, France. They initially settled on a farm in Portneuf, then moved to Trois-Rivières and finally settled in Cap-de-la-Madeleine.

They had at least these children:
i. Xainte Trottier was born on 11 Sep 1633 in Mamers, Maine, France.
ii. Julien Trottier (born in Mar 1636).
iii. Antoine Trottier (born in Jan 1640).
iv. Pierre Trottier (born in 1644).
v. Jean-Baptiste Trottier (born in Jul 1646) aboard ship crossing to New France. Ship was "The Cardinal". Camilla Parker-Bowles and Madonna are both his descendants.2

 
1646 This family came to New France on the ship "The Cardinal" in 1646. One of their children was born aboard this ship in transit. Jules was a farmer and wood worker.

Their oldest child. Giles, was killed by Indians about 1654.  Why is he not listed in the above list???
Death 10 May 1655 Jules (Gilles) died on 10 May 1655 at Trois-Rivières, Trois-Rivières, QC.1,2
