200. Clara Ella Farley (James , Ebenezer , Ebenezer , Benjamin , Benjamin , Sr. , Caleb , George ) was born 28 Oct 1849 in Hollis, New Hampshire. She died 28 Aug 1881 in Hollis, New Hampshire.

Clara married Josiah Newton Hayden on 23 Mar 1869 in Hollis, New Hampshire. Josiah was born 13 Aug 1841 in Hollis, New Hampshire. He died 13 Aug 1908 in Hollis, New Hampshire.

Obituary in the August 14, 1908 Hollis Times. He was a member of the Hollis Congregational Church in 1859; Joined co H NH 7th Regiment in 1861to fight in the Civil War. Member of GAR Post JN Worcester served as Commander and Secretary member of the Charity Lodge of Good Templars. Believer in temperance.

Josiah mustered out of the service Dec. 22, 1864. (The Hollis Times).

Josiah and Clara had the following children:

  207 F i Grace Estelle Hayden 1 was born 2 28 May 1870 in Hollis, NH. She died 3 1957.
  208 M ii Walter Newton Hayden 1 was born 28 Aug 1871. He died 2 1957.
        Walter married Elsie Young on 6 Sep 1908. Elsie was born 1882. She died 1971.
  209 F iii Hattie B. Hayden 1 was born 1874. She died 2 1938.
  210 M iv Willis D. Hayden 1 was born 1876. He died 26 Feb 1938.

At his death at age 62, Willis was one of the largest independent milkconcerns in the state. He died at Portsmouth Hospital.
Willis was one of the first state milk producers to installlpasteurization equipment, and also introduced vitamin D milk in thissection (Dover) of New Hampshire.
  211 M v Lester James Hayden 1 was born 18 May 1878. He died 2 2 May 1945.

The 10th annual reunion of the Hayden family was held at the home of Lester J. Hayden recently with 31 present, guests coming from Dover, Milford, and Wilton and Southboro and Somerville, Mass. A bountiful dinner was served at noon. The following officers were elected: Walter N. Hayden, president; Phillip Hayden, Secretary: Mrs. Elsie Hayden, treasurer; Miss Bertha Hayden, historian; Miss Grace Hayden, and Miss Bertha Hayden and Mrs. Ida Adams of Milford, executive committee. It was reported that there are 15 post offices in the United States of the name of Hayden and a Hayden magazine is published in the middle west. The date of the gathering was the birthday of Raymond White who was present and the 25th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Winnifred Woods and Mr. and Mrs. Walter N. Hayden both couples being presented with gifts of silver. Mrs. Walter N. Hayden wore her wedding gown and hat and treated the guests with some of her wedding cake made 25 years ago. Pictures were taken of the group.
        Lester married (1) Christine Calderwood on 6 Sep 1911 in Craftsbury, Vermont. Christine was born 29 Nov 1882. She died 19 Jan 1914 in Hollis, New Hampshire.
