The map
below shows the location of the FALKENBURCH land next to the North Fork
of the Shenandoah River in Virginia. The land was a 300 acre plot
bordering on the river and the Wagon Road crossed the land on the western
end of the plot. The source of this information is Lord Fairfax
Land Suit transcript p 65..

The
Fairfax Land Suit transcript p. (65) also has this on the Falkenburghs:
"Know
all men by these presents that I, Jacob Falkenburgh of Augusta County
in the Colony of Va have Bargained
and sold and by these presents do sell over to George Seller of Frederick
Co, and Colony aforesaid, .all my right and Title of
a certain Plantation or improvement lying and being on Sherrando River
between Henry Falkenburgh and Andrew Falkenburgh
to have and to hold......etc ....
Witness
my hand and seal this twenty third day of March 1744/45
Jacob (JF) Falkenburgh (SS)
his mark
This
anchors the three Falkenburgh properties, all in a row, with the middle
one sold to George Seller. We show the middle one in our map. The others
had been sold.
Those
are the three Falkenburghs who were later in NC/SC. The site is directly
across the old wagon road about midway between Woodstock and Edenburg,
near Willow Grove at a point near the river's edge at one of the seven
bends.
