"We are told that Patrick's father died in 1562, and was succeeded byPatrick who is described as having possessed a mild disposition, and ofno great metal. On Dec 20, 1570, a 'John HERON'(Patrick?), was servedheir to Kerrouchtrie, Lessens, Carse, Blackcraig, etc. Patrick may havebeen under age when his father died.
