John HERON, son of William HERON and Elizabeth BLACK , was born 1829 in Minnigaffe, Kirkcudbright. He married Joan MCGILL November 24, 1853 in Minnigaff, Kirkcudbright. He died October 19, 1895. Joan MCGILL, daughter of David MCGILL and Elisabeth MCGAUL , was born 1833 in Kirkcowan, Wigtown. She died October 19, 1893.
