Alexander Woodburn HERON, son of Alexander HERON and Anna Maria SMITH , was born May 18,1815 in Wigton Plantation, Manchester, Jamaica. He married Jessy (Mother Mac) . Jessy (Mother Mac) , daughter of Mother AFRICA , was born abt. 1825.

Called "Mother Mac" after her her marriage. Also called "Granny Mac" byher grandchildren following her marriage.
Several of her great-grandchildren are alive in Jamaica, the EasternCaribbean, U.K., Canada, USA, Australia and NZ.
