According to the LDS IGI records, William HERON and Agnes DALZIEL had twochildren named William. Presumably, the first William died. The secondWilliam is believed to have emigrated to Jamaica with at least onebrother (Alexander) and was granted a land patent for Vere, Jamaica in1802. In 1804 he may have sold his property and returned to Scotland by1806. It is believed that he left one of two children in Jamaica. Statedto have married abt 1805 and had six daughters. He is also mentioned inhis brother's will as being in Scotland in 1809.
