He married Margaret (Maggie) MCKIE April 27, 1877 in West Mains, Port William, Kirkinner, Wigtown, Scotland. He died November 13, 1890 in Near Fell cot, Glasserton, Wigtownshire. Margaret (Maggie) MCKIE, daughter of Andrew MCKIE and Janet COSKRIE , was born May 31, 1853 in Kirkinner, Wigtown, Scotland. She died August 19, 1927 in High Street, Portwilliam, Wigtownshire.
