Anthony HERON, son of William HERON and Agnes MILROY , was born March 01,1838 in Glasserton, Wigtown, Scotland. He married Eliza IRVING June 20, 1861 in Whithorn, Wigtownshire. He died October 24, 1894 in Whithorn, Wigtownshire, Scotland. Eliza IRVING, daughter of John IRVING and Mary CLARK , was born abt. 1836. She died April 22, 1884 in Whithorn, Wigtownshire.

Also his three sons ??? who died 24th October 18?4 and Williamwho died 27th December 1902 aged 36 years; Christopher who died 25thMarch 1909 aged 45 years; John who died 15th October 1911 aged 35 years.Also his eldest daughter Mary who died 11th June 1913 aged 51 years."(From the above MI inscription it sound as if Anthony and three of hissons died in a common mishap or the MI was transcribed incorrectly)
