John HERON, son of Anthony HERON and Elizabeth CARSON , was born October 11,1806 in Glasserton, Wigtown. He married Louisa MCBURNIE . He died February 11, 1883 in Monreith Village. Louisa MCBURNIE, daughter of Hugh MCBURNIE and STEWART NELSON , was born January 18, 1815 in Glasserton, Wigtownshire. She died January 27, 1905 in Monreith, Kirkmaiden, Wigtownshire.

Buried in Monreith Cemetery, Kirkmaiden, Wigtownshire. His MI reads, "Inaffectionate remembrance of John Heron who died 11th February 1883, age78 years. Also his grand-daughter and only child of Captain Robert andCatherine Johnstone who died 24th November 1891, aged 17 years. AlsoLouisa Burnie his wife who died 27th January 1905 aged 90 years.
