He married Mary McFarlane HORNER August 15, 1910 in Albert Place, Newton Stewart. He died December 02, 1972 in 13 Station Rd., Newtonstewart, Penninghame, Wigtownshire. Mary McFarlane HORNER, daughter of James HORNER and Catherine MCFARLANE , was born July 25, 1886. She died July 25, 1927 in Dumfries Infirmary, Dumfries, Wigtownshire, Scotland.
