It is stated that Elizabeth the wife of Alexander GOLDIE, w.s. was theeldest daughter of Patrick HERON the younger, whereas as will be found inthe family account, she was his fourth daughter and married to RobertMACLELLAN of Barscombe. It would appear that she was twice married. Itwas her brother who erected the headstone to Alexander GOLDIE. (McKerlie)
