John HERON, son of Patrick HERON and Mary MCDOWELL , was born abt. 1611 in Newtonstewart, Galloway, Scotland. He married Janet SMITH December 02, 1651 in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland. He died 1689 in Ulster, Northern Ireland. Janet SMITH was born abt. 1630.
