James MCCOLM, son of Helen MCCOLM , was born abt. 1887. He married Elizabeth (Bessie) HYSLOP abt. 1913. Elizabeth (Bessie) HYSLOP, daughter of James McColm HYSLOP and Mary HUTTON , was born February 18, 1887 in Inch, Wigtownshire. She died April 10, 1917 in Salcoats.

When James McCOLM married Bessie HYSLOP, he was a miner from the villageof Kilmalcom. Developed tuberculosis (probably 'Black Lung Disease').
