The 'Galloway Gazette'publishes a weekly column entitled 'The Way We Were' In their newspaperpublished in late August or early September 2009, they reproduced anarticle describing the search for a missing woman about 50 years ago.Although it didn't name the woman, it is believed to be referring to MaryMartin HYSLOP. If Mary Martin HYSLOP was born in 1889 and died around1959 (50 years ago) that would mean that she died when she was aboutseventy years old.
