The following is part of the surgeons report upon the arrival at Port Phillip ..................................

The first case of the Fever occurred on board whilst the vessel lay at Gourock Bay on the point of sailing, and that during the entire of the voyage it continued to spread. 27 deaths took place from Fever during the voyage and 14 deaths after the ships arrival at Port Phillip, the mortality from other complaints amounts to 20 making a total of 61 deaths.

Under all these unhappy circumstances we must decline recommending the payment of Bounty and leave that question for the decision of superior authority.

The Immigrants in question after their long ordeal are all restored to health and look very well. They represent the conduct the conduct of the Surgeon, Superintendent and the other officers of the ship as being kind and attentive during the voyage.
