She is survived by her husband, Clarence Wells; one son, Randy Peirce of Portsmouth; one daughter, Anita Ramey of Wheelersburg; one stepson, Wayne Wells; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one stepson, Anthony D. Wells; and two brothers, Shannon Bear and Walter Ray Bear.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Bob Jones officiating. Burial will be at Bennett Cemetery in Minford. Friends may call at the funeral home from Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service

Alberta was born June 23, 1923, in Defiance, a daughter of the late George and Lila (Davis) Wells.
She retired after 32 years of service at Packard Electric. Alberta enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her retirement friends. Alberta crocheted lap blankets for the veterans.
On April 13, 1940, Alberta was united into marriage with George Testa and together they spent 57 loving years until his passing on April 25, 1997.
Alberta leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, William Testa of Austintown and David (Deborah) Testa of Leavittsburg; her daughter, Margaret (William) Skeliski of Austintown; six grandchildren, including Jennifer (Paul) Poulos and Steven (Tiffany) Skeliski, locally; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Alberta was preceded in death by two sons, Raymond and George Testa; one grandson, Michael Testa; one sister; and two brothers.
Interment will be at Meadow Brook Memorial Park in Champion.

Mrs. Anna Wells, 60 of southwest of Richwood died this morning at her home. She had been ill a year.
Born March 18, 1891, in Elizabeth, W. Va., she was a daughter of L.M. & and Mary Sheets Archer. December 25, 1912 in Wirt County, W. Va., she married Ira D. Wells who was killed in a train accident at Ashley Dec. 14, 1947. She was a member of the Claibourne Methodist Church, of the W.S.C.S. of the church, and of Claibourne Grange and she was a Gold Star mother of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are children, Eugene Wells of Losantville, Ind., Richard Wells of Chesapeake, Ohio, and Calvin Wells of near Richwood, and a sister and brother, Mrs. Lucy Palmer of Parkersburg, W. Va., and Sumpter Archer and John Archer, both of Sandyville, W. Va. A son Lt. Travis Wells, was killed in action during World War II, and another son, Alton, died in childhood.
The body was brought to the Winter Funeral Home in Richwood.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dale E. Valentine, and 5 Siblings.
Betty is survived by her three daughters, Rhonda Driscoll, Terry Johnson, and Stacy Webb; five grandchildren, Erin, Josh, Tara, Nick, and Shannon; and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Visitation will be March 20, 2015 from 12:30 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
