She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Richard and Danny Wells, sister Lorene Becker and brothers Clarence and John Paul.
  
  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November, 30, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Rev. Dick Wamsley officiating. Burial will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville, Ill.

Wells, wife of William H Wells died at her home 252 W. 65th st., and her funeral was held Monday, burial being at Mount Greenwood cemetery, Mrs. Wells has long been a resident of Englewood and has a large circle of friends. She was the mother of Henry K., Leslie W. Wells and Mrs. John Sims. She had been in ill health for a long time, but bore her suffering with an uncomplaining fortitude, which bespoke her true Christian character. She was a devoted wife and mother, and the kindliest sympathy of all of Englewood goes out to the bereaved husband and family.

  Dr. A. C. Dudley, pastor of the First Englewood Presbyterian church, conducted the funeral Monday morning for Mrs. Alice I. Wells, 56, a member of that congregation, whose death occurred Friday, December 5. Burial at Mount Greenwood cemetery followed the services at Train's chapel, 63rd st. and Harvard ave. Mrs. Wells had made her home in Englewood since 1891 and lived at Englewood and Princeton aves., during the first twenty-five years of her residence here. Her husband was for many years in the real estate business on W. 63rd st. Besides her husband, William H. Wells, she leaves two sons, Henry K. Wells, 6400, Yale ave., Leslie W. Wells of Florida, and a daughter, Mrs. John Sims, 6225 Princeton Ave.
