  She was born on July 27, 1933, in Portland, the daughter of Salvatore and Celia Marie Romano DeMarino. Beverly attended local schools and was a graduate of South Portland High School. Beverly also attended Northeast Business School in Portland
  On Oct. 2, 1954, she married Wilmot Webster Wells. They began raising a family. As her children were growing up, she worked as a waitress at the Merry Manor in South Portland.
  She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. She was an active volunteer with the South Portland Food Cupboard. For many years, Beverly was a member of the St. John's Women's Bowling League, bowling at the Big 20 in Scarborough. She wintered in Wesley Chapel, Florida. She also had a seasonal campsite in Alfred.
  She was predeceased by her husband Wilmot in 2009; and a sister, Camella Gatley. Survivors include her two daughters, Brenda Roy and her husband Ray of Scarborough, Donna Perron of Somersworth, N.H., two sons, Gregory Wells and his wife Susan of Wesley Chapel, Fla., Jeffrey Wells and his wife Kimberly of Windham; two brothers, Joseph DeMarino of McAllen, Texas, Donald DeMarino of Windham; a nephew, Philip Gatley of South Portland; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
  Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday at Conroy- Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. Prayers will be recited at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, at the chapel, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, Main Street, South Portland. Burial will follow in New Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.

  Jane Page Wells, 91, of Damariscotta, ME died December 29, 2011 at Miles Memorial. She was born and raised in Newcastle, ME and graduated from Lincoln Academy and University of Maine at Orono. She was married to James Doring Wells for 59 years until his death in 2003. After raising two daughters in Wayland, MA, they moved to Weston and retired to Florida in 1986. She was an Information Program Specialist for the U.S. Department of Energy. In her free time, Krissy enjoyed fishing, country music and watching the Washington Redskins as well as football in general.
  
  A funeral service will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home. Interment will be in Manor Cemetery.

  Surviving are one son, Charles Emmitt Wells of San Diego; one son-in-law, James Plummer of Walkersville; one brother, Carl Bishop of Memphis, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
  
  Ms. Wells was preceded in death by two daughters, Janice Plummer and Dorothy Williams.
  
  Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick, with the Rev. Ed Lilley officiating.
