  CROPSEY -- Cora May Elliott, 89, a lifelong resident of the Cropsey-Anchor area, died at 2:42 a.m. yesterday at the Helen Lewis Smith Pavilion, Fairbury.
  
  Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, the Rev. Wesley Osborn officiating. Burial will be in Cropsey Cemetery.
  
  Vistation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the memorial home.
  
  Mrs. Elliott was born Feb 2 1893, in Anchor, a daughter of Isaac and Ida E. Slater Wells. She married Harry Elliott on March 12, 1914 in Bloomington. He died April 1, 1962.
  
  Surviving are three daughters, Joan Garmon, Cropsey; Edith Deputy, Fairbury; and Bernadine Steers, Washington; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
  
  Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
  
  Mrs. Elliott was a member of the Cropsey United Mehtodist Church, its Women's Association and the Cropsey Woman's Club.
