Lovie was the youngest child of Alec and Fanny that lived past childhood. She was born on October 16, 1891, east of Plantersville, Lee County, Mississippi. She grew up around the Unity Community and was a member of Unity Presbyterian Church.
She married Albert Raymond Partlow, three years her senior, on August 26, 1914 at the age of 22. A little over a year later, they had their first child and named him Morgan Russell Partlow. Two years later they had Erin Frances Partlow.
They lived around Plantersville for most of their lives. Raymond was a dairy farmer and hauled milk to the Carnation milk plant in Tupelo from local farms. Raymond also sold milk.
In 1964, at the age of 76, Raymond passed away. Lovie continued to live at the same house place and she too passed away on the last day of August, 1979. Raymond and Lovie were buried at the Lee Memorial Cemetery in Verona, Lee County, Mississippi. Russell and Erin still live on the old home place also.
