CEMETERY LISTING ~

 Source information

The source for the Weeks Cemetery was done by an actual walk through and recording of each grave stone placed there.  There are some stones which are not readable, however they are recorded as being there.  The source for the Old Common, Spring Hill and Brigham have been transcribed from a book entitled "Marlborough, Massachusetts - Buryial Ground Inscriptions Published by Franklin P. Rice in 1908.  There were but one hundred copies of this book published.  The City Hall Clerks Office has a copy of the original book.

All of these cemeteries are maintained by the City of Marlborough the Division Of Cemeteries.  Those known War Heros are marked accordingly and have a flag placed at the stone every Memorial Day.
