that the persons whose names are here entered humbly desire the approbation of the honoured court in order

John Brigham Thomas MartineWee the selected men of the town of Marlborough in pusuance of the order of the General Court consentingto the enlargement of freemen during the year 1691 do certify under our hands that all persons named in the first and second columes here about written doe each for themselves pay four shillings to assigned county taxes and all those named in the third and fourth columes have houses and lands of the clear yearly value of six pounds and not to our knowledge vicious in life.
