These images are from the personal bible of Mary Ophelia Morgan Holdridge. Copyrighted in 1905, this appears to be the bible that Mary carried with her to church and bible study. After her death, this bible was in the possession of her son, W.C. Holdridge, until about 1987, when he gave it to his nephew, James R. Holdridge, during a family reunion. W.C. said he passed it on to James because of James' interest in genealogy and because James was a minister. When James died in 1889, this bible passed into my possession (Cindy Holdridge Smith, daughter of James).
