"Pursuant to a precept by me directed by John Bremar Esq. DSG for grant date feby the fourth day 1769 I have admeasured and laid out unto William Dendy a plantation or tract of land containing one hundred and fifty acres situate and being in Craven County the North Creek of Little River Butting and bounding SE on land laid out to Benj Powell, NE on land laid out to John Cargill all other sides bounds on vacant lands and hath such shape form and marks as a plat above doth represent. Certified for the 13th day of July 1768 by me ordered 7 March 1770 Jno Caldwell DS.
