William Holditch and Isham Fuller
1803 Indenture
This indenture made this 26th day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and three and 28th of America's Independence between William Holdich of S. Carolina Laurens County of the one part and Isham Fuller of the other part witnesseth that for the consideration of two hundred and twenty five dollars to him in hand paid by Isham Fuller, the receipt hereof is hereby acknowledged by the said William Holdich he hath bargained, sold, and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell and deliver in fee simple unto the aforesaid Isham Fuller his heirs and assigns forever one certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county and state above--on both sides of Little River containing be estimation fifty acres more or less and bounded as followeth (or follows viz.) beginning at a post oak in Andrew Roger's line and running with said line to a dogwood in Simm's line thence with Simm's line to until it strikes William Bailey's line to a stake, thence crossing the river and running up the various courses of the branch to a beach, thence along a new marked line to the beginning together with all the woods, waters, mines, minerals, hereditaments, thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to hold use occupy possess and enjoy all and singular the above granted land and premises unto the aforesaid Isham Fuller and his heirs and assigns forever and the said William Holdich doth hereby warrant and forever defend the above granted lands from and against him his heirs and assigns forever, and against the claim or claims or demands of any person whatsoever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and year above written.

Personally appeared James Bailey before me and being duly sworn saith as the law directs on our oath that he was present and saw William Holdich sign seal and deliver the within deed to Isham Fuller for the within mentioned purposes and that he saw Benjamin Brown ascribe as a witness with himself to the same. Sworn and subscribed before me this first day of March 1814.
