In the name of God AmenI Henry Holditch of the Parish of St. Ann Blackfriars London Vintner being about to goe a journey from London to Totness [sic] in Devonshire and that there may be no disputes and controversies hereafter made concerning any of my estate or effects which I am possessed of in this present world I will devise bequeath and dispose thereof as followeth that is to say I will direct and appoint that none of my relations or kindsfolk whatsoever shall have or enjoy any of my estate or effects whatsoever except my loving wife Ann Holditch Now I give devise and bequeath unto my said wife Ann Holditch her heirs and assigns forever all my goods chattels and other effects consisting in Ready Money or Book Debts and other debts and household goods and also all and whatsoever my other estate and effects both real and personal I give devise and bequeath unto my said dear and well beloved wife Ann Holditch whom I make ordain constitute and appoint sole and whole executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills by and any time heretofore made either by word or in writing in witness thereof I have hereunto set my Hand and seal this twentieth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand and seven hundred and thirty three Henry Holditch signed sealed and published and ordered by the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of Test.

This willwas proved at London before the worshipful Robert Chapman Doctor of Laws surrogate of the right worshipful John Bettesworth Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully testified the eighth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty four by the oath of Ann Holditch widow the relict of the deceased and sole executrix named in the said will to whom administration was granted to all and singular the goods chattels and effects of the said deceased being sworn only and truly to administer the same.
