HONLEY CEMETERY BURIAL BOOK

 

I have copied 5661 names of the 8000 in the burial book.

Covering the years 1857 to 1930.

 

Nearly 5000 graves have no headstones but their names are in the book which means that there are no inscriptions for them.

The Burial Book is the one used by the undertaker and is NOT the Parish Register

The NUMBER is the actual number in the book. The PLOT/SECTION refer to the position of the grave in the cemetery. The book is available on microfische at Wakefield Record Office and can be purchased from them.
