ALEXANDER1 RUSSELL was born January 15, 1781 in North Carolina, and died January 03, 1863 in Hardin Co., TN.  He married ELIZABETH WALLACE Bef. 1815.  She was born October 02, 1779 in South Carolina, and died January 26, 1869 in Hardin Co., TN.     

Children of ALEXANDER RUSSELL and ELIZABETH are:

              i.   MARGARET "PEGGY" RUSSELL, b. April 24, 1815, TN; d. November 07, 1897, Hardin Co., TN   Watson's Chapel Cemetery; m. JAMES LEMUEL WATSON, November 19, 1835; b. October 05, 1814, Unknown; d. September 11, 1893, Hardin Co., TN.

             ii.     JOHN RUSSELL, b. 1817, Wayne Co., TN; d. Abt. 1907, Hardin Co., Tennessee  buried Shiloh-Pony Creek Cemetery; m. CATHARINE; b. February 18, 1820; d. March 06, 1906, Hardin Co., TN (buried Shiloh-Pony Creek Cemetery).

            iii.     ROBERT RUSSELL, b. Abt. 1823, Hardin Co., Tennessee; d. March 17, 1907, Hardin Co., TN  buried Shiloh-Pony Cemetery; m. MARY OGLESBY SHELBY, October 03, 1850, Hardin County, TN; b. December 12, 1827, Loweryville, TN; d. 1896, Hardin Co., TN  buried Shiloh-Pony Cemetery.
