Inez Ragan Diggs

JACKSON, TN - Funeral services for Mrs. Inez Ragan Diggs, 82, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 28, 2008 at the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Brother Greg Abbott officiating. Burial will follow in Parkburg Cemetery.

Mrs. Diggs, died January 25, 2008 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

She was born in Hardeman County, TN daughter of the late Edgar and Ollie Jackson Ragan and was educated in the county schools. Mrs. Diggs was a member of Pinson Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgle Harold Diggs, Sr. in 1978 and a son, Virgle Harold Diggs, Jr. in 2002; seven brothers and a sister.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edith Ray and husband, Larry of Beech Bluff and Mrs. Debra Perkins and husband, Jack of Pinson; seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers to serve are Donnie Garey, Kevin Foged, Wayne Hinsley, David Johnson, Dustin Evans and Jack Couch.

Honorary pallbearer is Keith Poole.

Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. today at the funeral home.
