KAREN McCAULEY INDOVINA

Pinson, TN: Karen McCauley White Indovina, age 57, passed away December 23, 2009 at Rex Hospital in Raliegh, NC.

She was born and reared in Pinson, TN the daughter of the late Edwin Leon “Ed” McCauley and Dorothy Suggs McCauley White, and the step-daughter of Richard “Bud” White of Pinson. She graduated from South Side High School in 1970. She attended Jackson State College and graduated U.T. Martin with a degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. She had a career in healthcare and held upper management positions, working with the FDA in writing compliance and regulatory guidelines for multiple blood bank organizations with an ending position as manager of Regulatory Affairs with Talecris Biotherapeutics. She was a member of the Pinson United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Indovina of Raleigh, NC; a son, Micheal Sean McCallum (Katie) of Dayton, OH; a daughter, Elizabeth White Broome (Kevin) of Raleigh, NC; step father, Bud White of Pinson, TN; two step sons, Matthew Indovina of Charlotte, NC and Christopher Indovina of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren, Conner White, Kaden Broome and Josephine McCallum; a sister, Donna Ray of Fayetteville, AR; a step-sister, Susan Elsass of Sidney, OH and a step brother, David White of Denver, CO.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby McCauley.
