Obituary of Nat Carman

Nat Carman

  Morris Chapel--Nat Brownlow Carman, 62, died at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hardin County General Hospital in Savannah.  Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Shackelford Funeral Home in Savannah with burial in Hardin County Memory Gardens near Savannah.

  He was a retired school principal and a state auditor.  He was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church and Saltillo Masonic Lodge.  He served on Hardin County Court for 18 years.

  He leaves his widow, Eva Allen Carman, two sons, Charles Carman of Savannah and James Carman of McIntosh, Ala.;  three sisters, Mrs. Ina Parrott of Oak Ridge, Kate Carman of Nashville and Mrs. Mary Haggard of Savannah and two grandchildren.
