Mrs. Patty Long -

Tenn. -- Services for Mrs. Patty Long, 69, were at 2 p.m. today at
Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl McNeal and Darrel Watson officiating.
Burial was in Union Cemetery of Chesterfield with Parsons Mortuary in
charge. Mrs. Long died Wednesday at Jackson Madison County General
Hospital. She was born in Henderson County, daughter of the late John
T. and Fannie Moore. She was the
widow of Will H. Long, political leader and former mayor of Parsons who died in
1951. Mr. And Mrs. Long founded Long Equipment Co. of Parsons and
Lexington. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Douglas Hayes of
Parsons; two sisters, Mrs. Kathleen Simmons of Ruston, La., and Mrs. Leo Reed of
Braden; four grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren. |
