Last Will and Testament of Thomas Paine December 27. 1774 - October 4, 1838 In the year of Our Lord, one thousand eight hundred thirty eight, in the name of God, Amen. I, Thomas Paine, being weak in body, but sound in mind, do make this my last Will and testament. I direct my Executor to sell all of my household Kichen furniture, Stock of all kind, Farming tools, except what I have given to my children, on a twelve month credit. I direct my Executor to sell my land on a one, two, three year credit. After paying my just debts I leave three hundred dollars to my wife Sally to be put on to interest for her support she may live with any of her children that she chooses. I give my son William Paine one hundred dollars. I give my son Osburn Paine one hundred dollars. I give my daughter Selena Paine a certain Bay Mare, a bed of furniture and a cow & calf. I give my daughter Lucinda Paine one hundred fifty dollars when she comes of age also a bed of furniture and cow & calf. I give my daughter Mira who is married to Mr. Meyers nothing. I leave nothing to Joseph Stevenson hired. The balance of my Estate I direct to be equally divided between William Paine, Herbert Howell, Coke Paine, Robert Wilson, Osburn Paine, Selena Paine Lucinda Paine and James Harwll.
