                                                             -executed 30 Oct 1770 and 17 July 1772

                                             Appendix A

In the name of God Amen I William Wattson of Hanover Township Lancaster County and Province of Pennsylvania Farmer, being sick of body but of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say   I commend my soul to Almighty God and my body to be decently buried as my Executors shall seem meet.  I hereby require all my Just Debts to be apid out of my Real and Personal Estate.  I give and Bequeath to my beloved wife, Sarah, her thirds out of such parts of my Estate Real or Personal as she shall think fit.  Next I bequeath to my sons Samuel and William Wattson the sum of Ten Shillings Each and I give and Bequeath to my son Hugh Watson the sum of one Hundred and fifty pounds Pennsylvania Currency and also a Good Horse Saddle and Bridle.  I also Bequeath to my sons David and Patrick Wattson the sum of one Hundred pounds each.  I also bequeath to my daughters Eleanor, Mary, Martha, and Ann the sum of Ten Shillings each.  I also Bequeath to my daughter Margaret Kennedy otherwise Wattson wife of Alexander Kennedy the sum of fifteen pounds and as to my daughter Jane I Bequeath her one horse and two cows to the value of Twenty pounds or money in Lieu therof as my Executors shall think fit and the sum of five Pounds and one Bed and Bed Clothes and I hereby Subject my Real and Personal Estates to the payment of the several sums herein before mentioned.  The money to be raised by sale therof or otherwise as my Executors Shall think fit and as to all cterplus (sic-?surplus) that may arise out of my Estates over and above The Several Sums of money herein Before mentioned I hereby Require that the same may be disposed of as my Executors shall think fit and I hereby constitute and appoint my Beloved wife Sarah Wattson and my son Hugh Wattson Executors of this my Last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all former wills by me made in witness wherof I have herewith Set my hand and Seal this twenty-third Day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty nine.
