Mrs. Alice Houghton, 80 years old. I 4029 Broadway, a resident of Indianapolis twenty-six years, died yesterday in her home after an illness of two weeks.
Mrs. Houghton was born in Tiffin, O., and spent her early life there. She later went to Toledo. O., and lived there twenty-five years before coming to Indianapolis. She was a member of the Grand International Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers since 1898. Survivors are a daughter. Miss Maude I. Houghton of Indianapolis; two sons, Jesse E. Houghton of Indlanapolis; and Walter L. Houghton of Toledo, and a brother, David Crohan of Toledo. Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lilia Houghton. West Palm Beach; a granddaughter, Mrs. Marcia Strickland, New York City, and a grandson, Richard II Bill. Pittsburgh, Pa.
Burial will be in Marlboro.
