Houghton, 88, of Valchus Trailer Park, a former Holliston resident and retired welder, died suddenly at his home Monday, Feb. 14, 1977. Born in New Brunswick, Canada, he was the son of Robert and Clara (Delesdernier) Houghton and the husband of the late Catherine Cole. He is survived by two sons, Paul of Framingham and John of New Jersey; one daughter, Alyce Hulbert of Sudbury, 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., Holliston this week.
Internment will be in Lake Grove Cemetery, Holliston.
