The body oí Ernest Houghton, 50, farmer oí Humble City, N. M., was sent to Ransom, Kas., by train Monday afternoon, Rix Funeral home reported. Houghton died about 4:30 p. m, Sunday in Lubbock Memorial hospital. Houghton moved to Humble City about a year ago from Carpentería, Calif., where he had farmed l8 years. He is survived by his mother Mrs. Alma Houghton; one brother Charles Houghton of Humble City N. M; and three other brothers and six sisters, who do not live in this vicinity.
