She trained and worked as a Registered Nurse. Doris moved to Boulder, CO in 1950. She married Hugh Mac DeBacker August 23, 1953. Doris was very much a care-giver and was much loved by all.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Barker and her husband Rich, her son, Jim DeBacker and his wife Ellen, grandchildren Lyman, Alyson Barker Graffis and husband Brian, Austin Barker, Evan Barker and great-grandsons Rory DeBacker and Wyatt Graffis.

Internment will be at Green Mountain Cemetery, Boulder on June 23rd at 1:00pm followed by a funeral service at First Presbyterian Church,

1820 15th St., Boulder at 2:00pm.
