Garaphelia Ochampaugh of Glen, wife of the late Alfred Houghton, died very suddenly Friday afternoon, September 22, in Schenectady where she had gone for a brief visit. Her remains were brought to the home of her brother, Albert Ochampaugh, of Glen. The funeral services to be held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock, the Rev. Fred S. Simmons, pastor of the Reformed church, officiating. Mrs. Houghton was a woman of strong character though mild and unassuming in her disposition. All who knew her respected nnd loved her. She waa a devoted member of the Reformed church and faithful in her attendance of all services.

ObituaryFeb 13, 1920William C. Houghton, 45, a local merchant, who died at his home, 501 Brandywine avenue, Thursday morning after a week's illness, will be buried on Sunday and Rev. Paul Stratton, pastor of the State Street Presbyterian church, of which he was a member, will conduct the service.

Mr. Houghton was born in Glen, N.Y., and 22 years ago came to this city. He afterward entered the employ of the Boston Clothing store as clerk and later was manager of that concern for Aaron Levi. Five years ago he opened a clothing store at 455 State street and was conducting it at the time of his illness. He was a member of the Schenectady Board of Trade.

Besides his wife he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Alfred Houghton.
