She was married to Eli Lee Houghton on April 17. 1886, Marshalltown. Mrs. Houghtoon was a member of the First Methodist church of Marshalltovn and she was a
member of Electric Reekah Lodge No. 331 of Marhalltown. Mrs. Houghton was life member of the Daughters of Union Veterans tent number 58 of Waterloo
Surviving are one son. Floyd A. Houghton of 1724 lulberry St; four grandchildren and seven great grand-children. She was preceded ineath by her parents, her husband in 1955. and by two sons

One of the largest crowds gathered there that day to pay tribute to one who made by her winning personality ,a host of friends. Who with her grief stricken husband and family
were shocked and saddened by her untimely death .Those who are at a loss for words how to express their heart felt sympathy to the bereaved . Burial was made in the church Cemetery and carried to their last resting place By Mr Ed Moltzan , Herb Schultz , Otto Schultz ,Fred Bunkowski , Rudolph Kratzke and Gust Kadding Alma Auguste Wischnak
was Born March 16 1899 in Candor Township ,Vergas Minnesota The daughter of Ferdinand and Bertha (Zuehl) Wischnak . She married Lloyd Houghton Nov 12 1919. She is survived by Husband Lloyd One Daughter Lillian two sons George and Duane all at home . One sister Mrs Anna Hannusch St Anthony, Iowa
