ObituaryEmma was the daughter of Henry C. Houghton and Nancy (Wilburn) Houghton. Emma married Frederick Green in 1895. She was the mother of Harry Wilbur Green, Ola Mae Green (Eckart), and Victoria I. Green (Askren,Ayers, Harper). Frederick died and Emma married a man by the name of Frank Carroll. She died from consumption, which she had for a year. Her children were taken in by other families. Harry went to George and Fanny Getz. Ola to the Marchberry family and Victoria was eventually adopted by the Conrad family.It is believed she and Frank Carroll had a child, but I have found no record supporting that.
