BiographyDon Houghton, born Paris 1930, began to write for the radio in the early 50's. It wasn't long before he progressed to writing for film and television, he found fame in the 70's with the Hammer Horror films. He has numerous television credits including Crossroads, New Scotland Yard and Emergency Ward 10. He has also written two novels. During his time on Doctor Who, he wrote the popular Jon Pertwee stories- Inferno and The Mind of Evil.

BiographyGail Clarke: Ida Kate Akey (1857 - ) married Ithiel S. Bailey, Jr. (1855 - 1933) on Feb. 28, 1876 and moved to Sac County, IA for about 4 years. They returned to Grinnell in 1884,
where Ithiel and Andrew Foster had a partnership in the farm implement business and a hardware store. After the men dissolved the partnership, Ithiel continued in
the hardware and grocery business in downtown Grinnell. He was secretary for the Grinnell County Fair for several years. He also was a member of the Poweshiek
County Republican Central Committee for several years, and was a member of the school board in the 1890's. He also provided the information for Jenette's death
certificate. In his retirement, he wrote articles about farm news for the Grinnell Herald. He died of cancer and is buried in the Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell.4
