Helen Edith Haughton, 94 of Pecatonica, IL passed from this life at 3:45 a.m. Sunday, June 30, 2019 in Liberty Village.

Helen was born March 29, 1925 in Winthrop, Iowa the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay and Edith (Roberts) Osborn. She married Chester Haughton on February 22, 1943. Helen was a member of First Congregational Church in Pecatoncia, IL. She enjoyed reading, family get togethers and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her seven children; Judy (David) Erxleben of Keokuk, Iowa, Patricia (Bill) Determan of Pecatonica, IL, John (Judi) Haughton of Dover, Delaware, Thomas (Sally) Haughton of Winnebago, IL, Gail (Bill Nelson) Haughton of South Beloit, IL, Jay (Susan) Haughton of Pecatonica, IL, Nancy (Scott) Heckman of Pecatonica, IL; 21 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Jean Livingston and Ruth Moth and brother Hal Osborn.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 5, 2019 in First Congregational Church, 633 Reed St., Pecatonica, IL with Reverend Sandra Mineau officiating. Burial will be in Twelve Mile Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Friday.
