BiographyA founding member of the Genealogical Society of DeKalb County; she collected the materials found here in the pursuit of her interest in genealogy. These materials eventually enabled her to do research for others. Also a result of her interest in genealogy she contributed to the publication of numerous books, the Index to the Combination Atlas Map of DeKalb County, Illinois, 1871, published in 1976, was the first. She was one of the leaders of the Genealogical Society who researched, walked and transcribed every cemetery in DeKalb County and published the resulting books since the early 1980's.
