Age 44, of Clinton, passed away June 9, 2009 at home. Laurie was born June 14, 1964 in Saline, Michigan. On April 29, 1989 she married Steve Houghton in Clinton and he survives. She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma, her father Charles, and her grandparents, Bob and Vivian Gee. Besides her husband, Steve, Laurie is survived by her daughter, Stephani; son, Travis and her loving family. At Laurie's request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held 11 a. m. Saturday, June 20, 2009 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 122 E. Church Street, Clinton, with Rev. Mother Robin Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a. m. Saturday until the time of service. Parking is available off East Franklin in back of the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Laurie may be made to the family. Arrangements were entrusted to the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
