Katherine Lee "Kitty" Cook, 67, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on May 23, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Carl and Laura Evelyn Cravins Houghton.

Kitty was very outgoing and never met a stranger. She was always joking and fun to be around. Kitty loved playing bingo, listening to country music, the Louisville Cardinals and her favorite dog, Bobo. In her spare time, she could be found watching her favorite TV show or movie. Kitty will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kitty is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Houghton and Evelyn Cravens Houghton; husband, Jerry Cook Sr; 5 siblings, Myrtle Burgin, Carlo Houghton, Pearl Breeden, Butch Houghton, and Billy Houghton; and a grandson, Scotty Cook.

Left to cherish her memory, Kitty leaves behind 3 children, Tammy Johnson, Pam Johnson (Jimmy), and Jerry "Bubba" Cook Jr; 5 siblings, Betty Hardin (Howard), Gloria Burgin (Robert), Pat Hill (Jerry), Laura Williamson, and Ronnie Houghton (Karen); 7 grandchildren, Kayla Cook, David "DJ" Johnson, Mark Johnson, James Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Michael Orewiler and Nevaeh Johnson; 3 great grandchildren, Ethan Norwood, Jayda Smith, and Maria Saunders; and a host of extended family and friends.
