The Rochester, New York area seems blessed with endless 'Resort Hotels' of which many acted as some kind of Amusement Park in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Some of the biggest 'Resort Hotels' evolved into the areas largest Amusement Parks.
It is impossible for this site to start listing every Hotel of this period and do a study of each. I will attempt to just provide a list of known Hotels. A few might get a regular listing in the index.
